New England Air Museum
Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks, CT

Located in Windsor Locks, within Central Connecticut, is this wonderful aviation museum which is also the largest of its kind in the NorthEast. Serving as an educational and entertaining treat to folks of all ages, young and old, as well as aviation buffs who'll more than appreciate all that the New England Museum has to offer.

The Museum boasts over 80 aircraft within 3 buildings as well as craft on display on the Outdoor Exhibit Area. The buildings which make up this Museum are the Military Exhibit Hangar, the Harvey H. Lippincott Civil Aviation Hangar, and the 58th Bomb Wing Memorial Hangar. It would take literally many hours if not more than a day to be able to see every single item on display.

On hand are some truly notable artifacts and famous aircraft. From the Spirit of St. Louis to World War II fighters and other original/historical offerings there is so much to see. Amongst the many items available for everyone's visual examination within their exhibits are the many airplanes and helicopters of course and there are also numerous engines, models, artifacts, vehicles on display. One thing to note is how their exhibits span a time range from as early as the late 19th Century to present day.

As of Summer 2005, the entry fee for adults is $8.00 and less for children and seniors
